Role Overview
While we are looking for editors who can work across topics, this role will primarily be focused on editing and presenting sports news in the Hearst papers throughout Texas, especially focused on Dallas, Houston, San Antonio and Austin.
As such, sports journalism is a specialty skill that is necessary for success, as is the ability to work in other parts of the operation outside of sports.
Remote: This is a fully remote role.
What You’ll Do
A production editor serves in a variety of capacities to prepare editorial content for Hearst Newspapers print editions, including:
Page layout and section organization.
